Student To Student

Student to Student empowers Jewish teens to talk about Judaism and Israel with proficiency, authenticity, and confidence. By the end of the school year, our participants will have given presentations to several non-Jewish students, many of whom may have never met a Jewish person. During presentations, participants provide insights into their lives as Jewish teens and put a “human face” to Judaism.

Training and supervision are provided by the Levine Center. Typically, a participant takes part in one or two presentations per semester, at a time that fits into his/her schedule.

Non-Jewish students who experience these presentations report an increased understanding of Judaism and more positive feelings towards Jews. For our participants, Student to Student provides an opportunity to truly make a difference in our community and is an effective method of leadership training.
