Zack Ellis

Zack Ellis is a Rochester, NY native and the Founder & CEO of TheirStory (www.theirstory.io) -- a web-based platform that optimizes the recording, editing, preservation, and dissemination of remote video interviews. Prior to TheirStory, Zack worked in Silicon Valley for 6 years at technology startups ranging in industries from API Management, to Home Health Care, to Math Education Technology. While in San Francisco, and as the grandson of a Holocaust survivor, Zack was moved to record his parents telling their life stories from across the country, which led to the creation of TheirStory. TheirStory is used today by over 60 institutions around the world to facilitate dialogue and preserve their communities stories. Zack holds a BA in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania where he was also a Division I wrestler. Outside of work, Zack enjoys rock climbing and reading about communication.
